The Aluminium Federation (ALFED) are proud to announce that we will once again be exhibiting at UK Metals Expo, taking place in Hall 11 at the NEC, Birmingham on Wednesday 11th and Thursday 12th September 2024.
With UK Metals Expo being the only event that brings together the entire metals supply chain with the engineering, manufacturing and construction sectors, this year’s event is set to host the largest number of exhibitors yet. It is a free annual event that aims to:
- Foster relationships and maximise opportunities across the metals supply chains
- Advance education, share best practices, and drive innovation in the industry
- Position the metals industry in the circular economy
- Showcase top solutions across the supply chain
Representing businesses who process, trade and work with aluminium, and with over 170 members across the whole UK supply chain, ALFED are proud to be the voice of the UK aluminium industry; fostering innovation, promoting best practice, developing skills and championing member interests.
Last year’s show was a tremendous success for the ALFED team, welcoming over 300 visitors to our stand, engaging with so many of our members who were also exhibiting, and having 3 team members taking part in panel discussions throughout the two days. This included CEO Tom Jones being at the heart of the first panel of the event, and Membership and Sustainability Manager, Nadine Bloxsome and Technical Manager, Jan Lukaszewski also playing their part by moderating 3 other panel discussions during the show.
