This consultation sets out how the government is planning to design the UK CBAM to ensure that it is effective, deliverable and meets our international obligations. The consultation will be open for 12 weeks, closing 13 June.

HM Treasury and HMRC will be holding two ‘Information Events’ to present the key positions and details within the consultation, at 10:00-11:30am on Friday 5th April and Wednesday 10th April. These events are open to all, but we may cap attendance to ensure an effective session.
