i-SPACE” is a WEFO ERDF funded project that will provide a comprehensive business case to:

• Create an eminent industrial scale end-of-life material shredding and sorting facility for UK Small, Medium & Large Enterprises, Research & Technology Organisations and Academic Institutions to develop and upscale novel processing, sorting and analysis techniques.

• Provide a path towards zero-waste and elimination of downcycling by improving material and element recovery from end-of-life consumer goods and appliances containing a range of ferrous metal, non-ferrous metals and non-metal materials.

• Produce a range raw materials to a high degree of accuracy and repeatability suitable for manufacture in to new products.

• Accumulation and dissemination of world-leading knowledge and skills in the area of circularity & high-performance material separation.
