Colin Gardiner, founder and long time Managing Director of CMK, passed away on Sunday 15th May.

Colin was also instrumental in setting up the Aluminium Finishing Association, which became the ALFED Finishing Group, and held the position of Chairman for a number of years, during which time he was a Board Member and Director of ALFED.

Colin was a great character within the industry, liked by all who came to know him. He was a pioneer within the Finishing Industry and made a large contribution to both ALFED & ESTAL, not least in helping set up the CCL agreement that the sector still benefits from.

All at ALFED pass on our condolences to his family and friends.
