The Engineering Network (TEN) has announced the launch of MachineBuilding.South, the newest addition to its successful MachineBuilding event series.

MachineBuilding Event Series Expands with the Launch of MachineBuilding.South - The Aluminium Federation

Taking place at Sandown Park, Surrey, on Wednesday, 8th July 2026, the free-to-attend event brings the unqiue MachineBuilding format to the South for the very first time, creating a new regional hub for machine builders, systems integrators and industrial automation professionals.

Building on the success of MachineBuilding.Live and MachineBuilding.North events, MachineBuilding.South has been designed to help engineering teams discover solutions faster, compare technologies side-by-side and connect directly with technical experts.

The event has already achieved a sold-out exhibition floor, with more than 130 specialist suppliers confirmed to exhibit across machine building, machinery safety, robotics, motion control, drives, industrial networking, control systems and automation technologies.

Designed specifically for professionals involved in machine design, integration and industrial automation, the event provides a focused environment where visitors can evaluate solutions, discuss technical challenges and engage directly with the people behind the technologies.

Alongside the exhibition, MachineBuilding.South will host a programme of CPD-accredited technical workshops delivered by leading suppliers including Atradius, PILZ, Lenze, SolutionsPT, Beckhoff, B&R, IGARD, SRCI, Phoenix Contact and Endress+Hauser.

Sessions will cover key industry topics including machinery safety, industrial networking, automation technologies, energy efficiency, robotics integration and practical engineering solutions.

Visitors can also participate in hands-on IO-Link training sessions, providing a practical introduction to one of manufacturing’s fastest-growing communication technologies. These popular training sessions regularly reach capacity at MachineBuilding events.

To help visitors make the most of their time, dedicated Technology Trails will guide attendees to relevant suppliers based on specific areas of interest, making it easier to identify solutions and connect with specialists.

Registration is free for manufacturing professionals and includes access to the exhibition, workshops, training sessions, free parking and complimentary refreshments on arrival.
