The Government is inviting stakeholders to apply for tariff suspensions in 2024. The window for applications is open from Wednesday 8 May 2024 and will close at 11.59pm on Wednesday 3 July 2024.

The application window will provide stakeholders with the opportunity to apply for a temporary reduction to tariffs on imports, including inputs into production, usually for a two-year period.

The Government is also running in parallel a public consultation on extending the suspensions from the 2021 window which are due to expire on 31 December 2024. Stakeholders can use this window to raise objections to extending these suspensions until 30 June 2026.

Please visit this page, where you can find detailed guidance on how to apply, as well as the online forms to submit your application.

Join the DBT Teams Live event at 10.45 – 11.30am on Wednesday 15 May 2024 to hear more about the 2024 duty suspensions application window.
