Colgate targets plastic reducers with launch of aluminium toothbrush - The Aluminium FederationColgate has launched an aluminium toothbrush in a bid to appeal to shoppers looking to cut down on plastic.

Called the Link Replaceable Head Toothbrush, it has an aluminium handle that consumers can “use and reuse for a lifetime”, said Colgate.

Link is claimed to use 80% less plastic than a regular manual brush, “providing an easy solution for consumers looking for simple ways to reduce plastic waste”.

The toothbrushes have rolled into Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Waitrose, Amazon and Superdrug.
