The British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing (BINDT) has issued the Call for Papers for the Aerospace Event 2023, taking place from 25-26 April 2023 at the Technology & Innovation Centre, Glasgow, UK. The workshop is organised by the BINDT Aerospace Group and follows on from the successful 2022 Aerospace Event held in Bristol. The deadline for the submission of abstracts (of no more than 200 words) is Friday 10 February 2023 and should be provided with the paper title, presenter’s name and contact details to karen.cambridge@bindt.org.

This two-day event will focus on the latest in technology developments, from the improvement of traditional methods and the development of new and the application of the technology, in particular how the technology can be automated for increased inspection integrity.

Day 1: Tuesday 25 April 2023

The theme of the first day will be Advanced/new techniques and aerospace composites followed by:

  • Panel session
  • Exhibition
  • Tour.

Day 2: Wednesday 26 April 2023

The second day will focus on Robotics and automation followed by:

  • Panel session
  • Aerospace Executive Committee Annual General Meeting (AGM)
  • Composites Group Annual General Meeting (AGM).

Attendance for BINDT members is:

£95.00 + VAT for one day; and

£170.00 + VAT for two days.

The following fees apply for non-members:

£105.00 + VAT for one day; and

£180.00 + VAT for two days.
