On 25 March, additional duties on a number of goods originating in Russia and Belarus will come into force. See further information in the press release about additional duties on Russian and Belarusian imports.

The UK also intends to introduce additional duties on imports of fish from Russia and Belarus. This measure will follow in due course, subject to further work on the specific implications for the sector. The overall scope of products subject to additional duties will remain under review.

See the products requiring additional duties when imported from Russia and Belarus.

There is an exemption for Russian and Belarusian goods that have already left Russia and Belarus before the additional duties take effect on 25 March. The goods must have completed Russian or Belarusian export formalities and left those territories before 25 March.
