We’re thrilled to introduce Emily Foster, the newest addition to the ALFED team. Taking on the role of marketing and communications assistant, Emily is eager to share her passion for marketing and take ALFED to new heights.

During the completion of a BA (Hons) in International Business, Emily fell in love with the dynamic nature of marketing. Inspired to delve deeper into the subject, Emily continued her studies at De Monfort University and completed an MSc in Strategic and Digital Marketing, achieving a distinction. Meet Emily: Our new marketing assistant - The Aluminium Federation

“What captivates me is the ever-evolving marketing landscape,” outlined Emily. “No two days are ever the same as there’s always a need to stay up to date with latest trends and find new ways to creatively promote positive messages.”

As she steps into her role at ALFED, Emily is particularly excited about applying her passion for content marketing. Despite being new to the aluminium industry, she sees this as an opportunity for personal growth and to make a significant impact within the organisation. Her main focus will be to promote ALFED’s events and engage with members through various digital social platforms, enhancing the association’s online presence in creative and compelling ways.

ALFED’s CEO, Tom Jones, expressed his confidence in Emily’s capabilities, saying, “We’re delighted to have Emily on board and with plans already underway to further increase engagement and promote the organisation and our work, we’re excited to see how collaboratively we can continue to drive ALFED forwards.

Off the clock, you’ll find Emily cheering for her beloved football teams – as a season ticket holder at Northampton Town and a lifelong West Ham United fan, she never misses a chance to support her clubs.

As the weekend approaches or a holiday beckons, Emily’s idea of unwinding involves kicking things off with a delightful cocktail or savouring a match day beer, especially during Northampton Town’s away games.

Keep an eye out for Emily as she embarks on this exciting new journey with ALFED!
