ALFED CEO Nadine Bloxsome and Industry & Skills Development Manager Rachel Wiffen were delighted to visit Alideck’s headquarters in Rochester, Kent, this week, gaining valuable insight into an innovative and rapidly growing manufacturing businesses in the UK aluminium sector.

A huge thank you to Mark Wood, Richard Izzard, David Hutcheon and the entire Alideck team for their warm welcome and generosity in sharing their story. The visit provided an excellent opportunity to learn more about the company’s impressive growth journey, the values that underpin its success, and the vision that continues to drive the business forward.
During the tour, Nadine and Rachel were given a fascinating look behind the scenes at Alideck’s operations, seeing first-hand the scale of the business, the attention to detail throughout the manufacturing process, and the company’s unwavering commitment to delivering high-quality, solution-focused products for its customers.
Discussions also highlighted several areas that set Alideck apart. The team shared how collaboration and partnerships with other businesses play an important role in supporting innovation and growth. Visitors were particularly interested to learn about Alideck’s internally developed brand book, which helps embed company values and maintain consistency across the organisation, as well as the company’s own AI-powered installation tool, developed to support customers and enhance the installation process.

A recurring theme throughout the visit was Alideck’s agility as a business. The company spoke passionately about the importance of remaining adaptable in a fast-changing market, enabling it to respond quickly to customer needs, industry developments and emerging challenges.
