The Department for Business and Trade has launched a Call for Evidence into the regulatory landscape as part of the Smarter Regulation programme. The Call for Evidence can be accessed via the following link.

The Call for Evidence will run for 12 weeks, and we are encouraging stakeholders to give their views on independent regulators and the how well the UK regulatory landscape is functioning. Our intention is to use this to collect evidence on what works and what could be improved.

This will be accompanied by an ambitious programme of workshops with consumers, consumer groups, businesses, regulators and think tanks. Invites for these events will be circulated separately.
