Bringing together senior representatives from across the industrial supply chain, the event will explore the barriers impacting British manufacturing, from rising energy costs and regulatory pressures to trade challenges, taxation and skills shortages. Particular attention will be given to the downstream steel sector, its manufacturing customers, and the wider supply chain that depends upon a strong domestic industrial base.

The industry panel will feature representatives from the International Steel Trade Association (ISTA), National Steel Association (NSA), British Constructional Steelwork Association (BCSA) and manufacturing end users. Discussions will cover key issues including reindustrialisation, government procurement, CBAM, customs and trade processes, business taxation, investment, skills development and the wider consequences of industrial site closures.

The event will also welcome Richard Tice MP, Deputy Leader of Reform UK, who will hear directly from industry representatives before delivering a keynote address on the future of British industry and manufacturing.

More than a conference, this event is designed to give businesses across the supply chain a direct voice in shaping policy recommendations. Following the event, discussions and recommendations will be compiled into a formal policy paper for submission to politicians and relevant government departments.
