Innoval Technology’s Introduction to Aluminium Metallurgy course provides a comprehensive foundation in aluminium metallurgy, ideal for engineers, technicians, and professionals working across the aluminium value chain. Delivered live online over three half-day sessions, this course combines expert instruction with practical insights drawn from real industrial experience.

How this course can help.

Innoval’s aim with this course is to provide you with a good basic knowledge of aluminium metallurgy. Although this course is pitched at an introductory level, you will find that the topics are explored in some depth. For example, we spend 2.5 hours discussing thermal treatments.

You’ll learn about aluminium microstructure, deformation and annealing mechanisms and thermal treatment. As well as metallurgy, we’ll also cover surface control and experimental techniques for problem solving. In all, you will receive 10.5 hours of training in aluminium metallurgy from industry experts.

The course fee is £950 + VAT, but ALFED members are eligible for a 10% discount on the course price.
