EnvironmentAl & HSE Focus Day
The ALFED team would like to invite you to take part in a Health, Safety & Environment Focus Day on Wednesday 18 March 2026, bringing together practical Environmental and HSE discussion in one in-person session.
The day has been designed to:
- Provide practical, member-led support on current Environmental and HSE challenges
- Share insight and lessons learned from across the aluminium sector
- Offer an accessible opportunity for members who are not yet part of the HSE Support Group to join discussions and understand its role
Members are welcome to attend either or both sessions, depending on their interests and availability.
Morning Session (Open to all ALFED members)
Environmental Workshop: Practical Support for LCA, PCF, CBAM & Reporting (Led by Positive Planet) – 10:30am – 12:30pm
The morning session will provide practical, aluminium-focused guidance on environmental reporting and CBAM compliance. It will cover the current regulatory landscape, including EU and UK CBAM, and clearly set out what ALFED members need to be doing now in terms of data collection and supply chain engagement. Through worked aluminium-specific examples, the session will break down LCA, PCF and EPD requirements in a straightforward way, helping businesses understand both compliance obligations and wider commercial implications. It is designed to give members clarity, confidence and actionable next steps.
Networking Lunch – 12:30 – 13:00
An informal opportunity to continue discussions and connect with other members across the sector.
Afternoon Session (HSE Support Group Meeting)
Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance Focus – 13:00 – 14:30
