Defence Procurement Conference 2026

Date: 11th – 12th June 2026
Venue: Millennium Point, Birmingham

With the UK Government pledging an additional £2.5 billion in SME defence spending by 2028, there is a clear and growing opportunity for businesses to engage in this space.

This inaugural West Midlands event, run in partnership with the MOD and Make UK Defence, is focused on bringing Midlands and UK businesses into the defence supply chain by connecting SMEs directly with defence manufacturers, MOD representatives and senior policymakers.

Across two days, the event will provide practical routes into defence procurement, including:

  • How to secure defence contracts
  • Access to prime contractors and decision-makers
  • Insight into positioning within the MOD supply chain

The Conference will kick-start a Midlands defence sector community which the DPC team will build on throughout the year with quarterly roundtables, a regular podcast and bi-weekly newsletter as well as connections and introductions.

If your organisation is exploring opportunities in defence or looking to expand its role within the sector, this is a highly relevant forum.

You can find more information and register your complimentary places at: https://defenceprocurementconference.co.uk. Alternatively, contact the team at info@defenceprocurementconference.co.uk.

The DPC team is actively shaping the programme and the community around it. If you are interested in speaking, joining a panel, exhibiting, or becoming a partner, please drop Richard Fallon at line at richard@defenceprocurementconference.co.uk or call him on 0121 232 8630.
