The Aluminium Federation (ALFED) is set to host a ‘meet the industry’ members networking event at this year’s UK Metals Expo. Taking place at the NEC in Birmingham, the two-day event (13-14 September) is set to welcome more than a hundred of exhibitors and thousands of visitors.

On day one of the event (13 September), ALFED members are invited to join the ALFED team to hear an industry update and network with other visiting members. The event, which requires pre-booking, will take place at 4pm, opposite the ALFED booth (E26), in Hall 10 in the Innovation and Technology Theatre 3.
The team will also be on stand throughout the two-day event to discuss its latest initiatives and engage with existing and prospective members.
Tom Jones, CEO at ALFED (pictured), commented: “We’re excited to be returning to the UK Metals Expo and our dedicated member networking event provides us with an opportunity to engage with key figures from across the entire metal supply chain.. Communicating with the supply chain is essential to what we do, so having an open platform to connect with the engineering and manufacturing sectors is invaluable.
ALFED is also participating in four panel discussions covering a variety of topics, including the importance of a UK industrial strategy, unlocking the economic viability of recycled aluminium, and pushing the boundaries of innovation.
Spaces are limited for this event, so please register here and then visit the ALFED booth to collect your drinks token on the day!
Please note – registration to the UK Metals Expo is separate and you will need to have registered to be able to attend this networking event.
Registration to the show is free of charge. You can find out more details here: https://ukmetalsexpo.com/
