ALFED Member News: Industrial Physics are Delighted to Announce New CEO, Barry Lyon - The Aluminium Federation

ALFED Member, Industrial Physics are pleased to announce the appointment of their new Chief Executive Officer, Barry Lyon.

When speaking about his new position, Barry (pictured), commented: “I’m proud to have joined a company that is already supporting such a broad spectrum of customers, including manufacturers, brands and the professionals working in laboratories and production lines. Industrial Physics has already carved out a really strong position within the market, achieving global reach but being able to offer local support. As a result, I can already see a huge number of opportunities to develop our offering further and support our customers with the emerging challenges that they are starting to navigate.

On the people side, I’m looking forward to the official introduction of the employee ownership programme, which makes all Industrial Physics colleagues’ owners of the business. I want all colleagues to feel appreciated and recognised for their personal contributions to our positive trajectory”.

In his role as CEO, Barry wants to play a vital role in taking Industrial Physics from ‘good to great’. While not going into too much detail about his specific plans just yet, what he has already shared is that one of the companies’ greatest areas of focus will be building on their recent growth and strengthening their role as a partner to their customers.
