Fantastic day at the University of Birmingham learning about additive layer manufacturing (3D printing). The day included presentations on processing using netshape manufacturing, putting additive manufacturing into production and tour of additive manufacturing facilities (Netshape and Binderjet).
Thank you Jas Bahra and colleagues at the University of Birmingham for arranging this for us. And thank you for everyone who joined us on the day.
Find out more about AMTECAA’s fully funded technical feasibility projects supporting SMEs to access equipment and expertise to optimise or develop new products and processes. These include feasibility studies using some of the most advanced laser metal 3D printing processes, such as laser powder bed fusion, direct laser deposition, advanced machining, robotics and metal binder jetting.
