Management is a set of skills, knowledge and behaviours that can be developed. This course will enable you to understand more about business and how effective business is able to happen. To take yourself beyond your identified skill or discipline to recognise and develop what you need to do differently in order to manage and lead effectively within your organisation.

Who is this course aimed at?

This course is suitable for those with little previous management development; for those who are very new to management or have only been managing for a short time; or for those who will be managing in the near future

What will I learn?

To examine the purpose of business and what your particular business is looking to achieve and deliver; Identify and examine the context facing a business, and in turn the challenges faced; Recognise the changed role, purpose and requirements when transitioning from operator/worker through to manager/supervisor; Develop skills, knowledge and behaviours that will enable immediate improvements to individual and organisational management performance;  Create an action plan to deliver changes to your management approach, style and influence.

By the end of the programme, delegates gain focus in managing themselves and others to maximise overall team performance
