BIY Energy Ltd have Partnered with one of the biggest renewable energy generators in Europe to offer Corporate Power Purchase Agreements (CPPA).

A CPPA is a long-term energy purchasing agreement between an electricity consumer (the ‘Corporate’) and a generator or associated organisation. This gives access to longer-term prices and budget certainty than a customer could get under a typical supply contract, whilst also guaranteeing revenue for the generator and project. Think of it as a long term green, hedge for all or a chosen % of your electricity consumption.

We are offering future-focused businesses the chance to contract with new-build renewable generation projects for part of their electricity volume. This will help the generation project complete, while supporting the sustainability ambitions of those businesses involved.

This is a great opportunity for those looking to invest in new renewable generation, in addition to a renewable electricity contract backed by REGO certificates. It enables businesses to directly support an increase in renewables on the grid, whilst managing any of the potential risks that may be associated.

The initial opportunities are looking to complete in the next 6 months and will require an annual electricity consumption between 50GW and 200GW and a strong credit rating.
