Aluminium voyage of Discovery

Land Rover's recently-launched Discovery has already gathered orders of nearly 20,000 worldwide, according to JLR. The brand new seven-seater has shed weight too. Its single-cell body is 85 per cent aluminium, of which 43 per cent is recycled, making it nearly half a tonne (480kg) lighter than the previous steel-bodied fourth generation vehicle. School visit a Real success

Record year for SAS

2016 proved to be the best year ever for Yorkshire-based aluminium window, door and curtain wall systems manufacturer Senior Architectural Systems, according to Managing Director Mark Wadsworth.
